Our studio is light, airy, and set up in a lifestyle setting with crib and bed. If you want an indoor option but don't feel your home is the best setting, this is the perfect option! The studio is located in Murrieta, Ca.

Do you offer Maternity Sessions too?
Absolutely! Our Maternity Session pricing can be found HERE. If booking your newborn session with us, you will receive $150 off a Full Maternity Session or $50 off a Petite Maternity Session.
When is best to take newborn photos?
Your baby will ideally be less than 2 weeks old. We make every effort to photograph newborns between days 5 and 10. During this window of time, babies are very sleepy, easily posed, less fussy, and have become accustomed to nursing. As newborns get older (10+ days), they tend to be more challenging to pose and settle, may develop baby acne, and have longer wake periods. For these reasons, it’s absolutely essential that the newborn session be scheduled early.
If, however, you have an older newborn, please reach out. Nila regularly photographs older babies and she would be happy to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever her schedule permits.
When should I book a newborn session?
Please book your newborn portrait session before your baby is born whenever possible. Most families reserve their due dates during their second trimester or early in their third. This ensures that space is allotted in Nila’s calendar to photograph your baby during the ideal age (between 5 and 10 days old).
Nila understands that your due date is only an estimate. She will reserve time on and around your due date, ensuring you have a spot in her schedule. Upon your baby’s arrival, you or someone you trust will contact Nila to arrange your actual session date.
*To give each client the best service possible, Nila books a limited number of portrait sessions per month. It is recommended that clients book newborn sessions as early as possible to ensure availability of dates and avoid disappointment. Nila will make every effort to accommodate late bookings whenever her schedule permits.
Where will my baby be photographed?
All newborn sessions will take place inside the Nila's private studio in Murrieta, Ca. You’ll have access to Nila’s extensive collection of blankets, wraps, buckets, headbands, bonnets and other accessories to make your newborn session a success. Newborns photograph best in their natural state, so there’s no need for you to worry about outfits or anything at all. This is a time for parents to relax!
Will I be able to upgrade my gallery if I want to receive all the images?
Absolutely! After seeing your gallery, if you decide you want more images than your collection includes, you will have the option to upgrade to receive all images in your gallery.

We look forward to hearing from you! Simply complete the questionnaire below, and we will be in touch with your booking info. A signed contract and $200 retainer (applied to your total collection investment) are required to reserve your session.
How long does a newborn session last?
All sessions are baby-led, meaning we work around the cues of your baby. We allot plenty of time for feeding, diaper changes, and soothing the baby — Sessions are never rushed! Nila allots up to 3 hours to complete the session, although most sessions last about 2 hours.
Can siblings be a part of the session?
Absolutely!! We encourage the involvement of siblings and parents. We know how special the addition of a new member is, and we love when the whole family is involved.
What are your Health & Safety precautions?
Newborn health and safety is Nila's top priority.
With children of her own and years working with young children,Nila understands a newborn’s vulnerable immune system and takes every precaution to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of her tools and props. In cases of photographer or client illnesses, sessions will be rescheduled.
Nila will never jeopardize a baby’s safety during a session. She will not pose your baby in unsafe ways or in unstable props. Poses are always simple and comfortable for your delicate new baby.
